3N2 recently announced partnerships with both the Philadelphia Force and Washington Glory of National Pro Fastpitch (NPF), and the signing of several current and former NPF All Stars as brand ambassadors.
Philadelphia Force and Washington Glory players will wear customized 3N2 PRO METAL cleats and promote clinics in conjunction with 3N2. In addition, the Philadelphia Force will offer discounted 3N2 merchandise on their website, www.ForceStuff.com. The Washington Glory finished first in NPF league standings in 2007 at 34-10, while the Philadelphia Force placed fourth at 24-20. Both teams begin their 2008 season in May.
In addition to the team sponsorships, several NPF standouts have joined 3N2’s roster of professional spokespeople. Amanda and Jessica Williams of the Rockford Thunder, Jessica Salinger of the Chicago Bandits, Shanel Scott of the New England Riptide, Norrelle Dickson of the Akron Racers, Trena Peel of the Philadelphia Force and Amber Jackson of the Washington Glory have all signed on as official 3N2 representatives.
Sean Murphy, CEO of 3N2, places the partnerships within the context of 3N2’s increased focus on the fastpitch market. “The partnerships with the Force, the Glory and our NPF athletes are an important part of our overall commitment to not only NPF and its players, but to the sport of fastpitch in general. We’re honored to be recognized as a NPF partner organization and look forward to helping both our squads and players succeed on the diamond in 2008.”
NPF All-Star Shanel Scott counts 3N2’s visible commitment to fastpitch as the primary driver of her affiliation; “Because of their partnership with NPF and belief in the sport, I was excited to partner with them (3N2). I know we share the same enthusiasm when it comes to enhancing women’s Fastpitch.”
