East Cobb Partners with 3N2 as Exclusive Uniform and Apparel Provider

10 Apr 2019

The East Cobb (EC) Bullets, based in Atlanta, have named 3N2 its exclusive provider of uniforms and apparel. The EC Bullets are among the most successful organizations in amateur softball, fielding teams across the country and having sent over 600 players to college on scholarships.

The first Georgia fastpitch organization was founded by Greg Schnute in 1996, but Schnute had made a name for himself on the diamond well before then. He played baseball at Florida State University reaching the College World Series championship game, only to lose to Southern Cal in the 15th inning 2-1, before starting his softball coaching career in Birmingham, Alabama in 1981. His deep experience is a large part of why he and his teams have had the success that it does.

The EC Bullets Are Well Represented at Multiple Levels

The EC Bullets have teams dedicated to players in the 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, 18U, and 18 Gold age groups. In recent years, these teams have been nationally recognized for their accomplishments, and the 2018 18U Gold team finished ranked FIRST in the country ahead of some other outstanding programs in the USA.

The Bullets Are Credited with Elevating Fastpitch Softball in Georgia

Before teams like the Bullets came along, slowpitch softball was the dominant game in Georgia and neighboring states. This has changed. In 2016, 13 fastpitch players in the state of Georgia were on the Hot 100 list. 3N2 representative Jeff Meads said that “Coach Schnute is known as one of the best coaches in all of softball. We are proud to work with him and be a part of the evolution of women’s softball in the United States.” In addition to Georgia, Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, and Tennessee, the Bullets have teams based in California, Pennsylvania and New Jersey with a total of 38 EC Bullets teams nationwide.

Softball Has No Offseason

One of the reasons why Georgia is producing so many talented softball players is that the players can dedicate themselves to the game throughout the year. According to Schnute, “We’ll hit all through winter—and the winter will be terrible weather-wise— and we’ll be inside and then go outside. A lot of people are now keeping the sport going year-round.”

Great Partnership Ahead

Coach Schnute said, “we are proud of our lasting relationship over the past nine years with 3N2, and the growth we have both experienced over that time. We are excited about our future with 3N2!”

3N2 Team Clutch

3N2’s exclusive Team Clutch program helps boost the brand power of baseball and fastpitch teams via high quality, head-to-toe uniform packages. The program also provides cash, free gear and other incentives directly to coaches as well as team member access to a streamlined online uniform and apparel ordering system. Orders from the system are delivered directly to parents – a winning way to increase team efficiency and profitability. Only 12 organizations nationwide are invited to join Team Clutch every year.
